Mammography

Breast cancer is one of the leading cancerous diseases among women worldwide, but thanks to modern diagnostic tools, abnormalities detected at an early stage are highly likely to be completely curable.

For this reason, introducing annual mammography screening can play a key role in preserving employees’ health. Modern digital mammography – especially when complemented with tomosynthesis (3D mammography) – is an extremely accurate and reliable method for examining breast tissue. It is capable of detecting early-stage abnormalities that do not yet cause symptoms and which, when diagnosed in time, are highly likely to be fully curable.

Screening is particularly important in companies where the proportion of female employees is high, and in workplaces where maintaining appearance and long-term health is a fundamental interest due to the nature of the job. Regular mammography examinations are suitable for identifying early signs of breast cancer, whether it be microcalcifications, structural abnormalities, or lesions hidden by overlapping tissue that become visible with tomosynthesis. Early detection can significantly reduce the need for and burden of treatments, and can also help prevent incapacity for work.
